Hermann Farm is collaborating with Theresa Long, a botanical watercolor artist, to offer a 3-day workshop for all artistic levels that focuses on painting flowering specimens as well as their related parts: leaves, stems, seeds, and interior structures.
Through close observation of botanical specimens learn to record textures, colors, and shapes with accuracy. Participants will learn to use measurement techniques along with dissection to identify accurate scale.
Two different summer sessions will be offered:
Mid-Summer Session- July 23-25, 2024.
Late-Summer Session- September 17-19, 2024
Each session is priced at $375 per person and will take place at the Still House located next to Hermann Farm four-square garden. The workshop will last from 9:30AM-3PM and will wrap up each day with discussion of progress, questions, and insights. Participants need to bring a sack lunch or snacks. A supply list will be emailed upon registration.

We hope to see you!
