Pat and Jane are Hermann Farm’s iconic Missouri mules. They were acquired when the Dierbergs purchased the farm from the Kallmeyer family in 2006. The Kallmeyer’s bred, trained, bought and sold draft horses and mules from 1908 until 2006 when they owned the property that is now Hermann Farm.

Hundreds of mules and horses have been kept and raised on the farm, but Pat and Jane have endeared themselves as ambassadors of Hermann Farm through their participation in many local parades and being admired by the many visitors to the farm.

Pat and Jane are now officially retired and enjoy their retirement quietly munching on grass or hay in the pasture.
