Our Mission

As part of the Dierberg Educational Foundation, Hermann Farm's mission is to engage and educate the public regarding the significance of Missouri's cultural, agricultural and wine making heritage, and support excellence in our region's food and farming.

Our Vision

Jim and Mary Dierberg fell in love with Hermann in 1971 and have been restoring and promoting the town and its history ever since. They acquired Hermann Farm in 2006 and began an extensive and historically accurate restoration that took years to complete. Today, the Dierberg Educational Foundation works to engage the public in the story of Hermann’s historical significance through tours, classes and cultural events.
